Hi Support,
- Open Macro Scheduler Main Window (list of macros) full screen.
- Click column header to sort by "Last Modified", newest at top.
- Right-click on a macro in the middle of the list, choose "Edit Script" from the right-click menu.
- Immediately click the X to close the Advanced Editor.
- Hit the Up Arrow key; why doesn't focus move to the previous macro?
- Hit Down arrow key and focus pops right to the top of the list.
Can you reproduce this? _________________ jpuziano

I can duplicate that behavior.
That's the way it is working on this pc, but mine is 42, not 44.
Have not upgraded yet.
So, this may not be new, just newly observed?
When the up arrow did not move up, I also clicked in the window title in case we had somehow lost focus. Then hit the up arrow again, no move. Pressing down arrow moves to top item. _________________ Hope this was helpful..................good luck,

Yes, the list view doesn't keep the focus after another object or window has been focused by the user. I guess you want the list view to take the focus when the main form is activated. _________________ Regards,

Actually this should already happen, and does work when you go to macro properties and back. For some reason though, after visiting the editor directly, the macro list doesn't respond to the up arrow, but when you hit the down arrow the first item gets selected. I have no idea why this is. There should be no difference. Hopefully we can fix, but I cannot give this top priority. _________________ Regards,

I understand. Its enough to know you can duplicate this and its made it to your list of known issues. Thanks for getting back to me and take care. _________________ jpuziano

Interesting...
Thanks for posting that JRL. It may help to zero-in on what's cauing this when they do look at it.
Take care all _________________ jpuziano

Must not be overly used method. I just installed V7.2 and it behaves exactly the same. No one's noticed in at least three years....

I was just wondering if this problem existed in earlier versions and there you go with the answer... its an oldie. Thanks again.

That or no one's bothered to report it. I see things like this at work from time to time. People can get so used to things working a certain way that after a while, they don't even question it so a bug can stay unreported for quite a while; worst case I've seen was 10 years. _________________ jpuziano
