Hello again...and again...
I have noticed something strange and I don't understand why...could be also linked to my previous posts.
From my single step AppNav process, I am looking for a button capture and based on image recognition I have connected scripts on a Found action (the action is not important there). My goal being to debug a more complex AppNav process by inserting messages from time to time.
Finally I have isolated this strange phenomenon:
I have linked the "notepad" script delivered within the SW package to the Found action, so when the picture is seen the pop-up from the "ask" action is there. Normal !
I made a copy of the script with Windows copy-paste calling it "copy of notepad", I imported the macro in Macro Scheduler. I linked the "copy of calendar" to the found action and it appears. Normal !
Then from MacroScheduler, I did a very small edit adding "12" at the end of the word "script" in the first ask instruction as shown below:
"Ask>This script12 will open Notepad and type in some text. Continue?,continue"
I connected this modified script to my AppNav process and no way to get the message. Is it normal ? I did it several times checking that I have also updated the AppNav process and changing also with the calendar script to crosscheck.
As well if I edit a new script and I copy-paste the content of the macro "notepad" in it, it doesn't work at all...
Despite the fact that all these modifed macros are working perfectly in the MacroScheduler environment with the Run command.
It behaves as if any edit in a script is blocking the AppNav process...
I am puzzled !
Best Regards
