Help us choose a new logo. The designers have come up with two concepts, both of which we really like. Which one do you prefer?

A)

Logo Concept 1

B)

Logo Concept 2

  1. Hey Marcus,
I like the gearhead (B), he kinda looks like you ;-)
    Take care

LOVE the robot! They both are good, but to me the robot has so much more character and potential.

  3. You simply must, must, must choose the gearhead. I love it!

  4. David Laning says:

A non-answer answer: choose the logo that looks the best and is most distinctive in the Windows QuickLaunch Bar. The fine detail in the robot head is problematic. Use gears instead of pulleys.

  5. @David: This is for a *company* logo for the website, business cards etc. It is *not* designed to be used for a program icon. Therefore it will *never* go in the QuickLaunch bar.

Seems to be a lot of confusion about this – everyone in the forums appear to be commenting on it on the basis that it will become the program icon. It will not. There is no intention of changing the program icon of any of our software, least of all Macro Scheduler.

  6. If anyone is wondering, we went with the gear head. Pretty much everyone thought it was great and very appropriate to what we do. Interestingly the forums were split more down the middle – with some long time customers being concerned that we were ditching the software gear icon. In fact there are no plans to change the software icon right now. This logo is for the company. We are now working on a new website design into which it will be incorporated …. watch this space ….
